Biografía
Director de cine británico nacido en Liverpool. Estudió en la Dovedale Road School de su ciudad natal. Después de pequeñas apariciones como actor en cine y televisión, dirigió sus primeras película, el policíaco Act of murder (1964) y la fantasía de ciencia ficción, Invasion (1965).
